2020 Christmas Parade

The “most wonderful time of the year” is just around the corner. Last year’s parade was a success and our goal for this year’s parade is to be bigger and better!  To reach this goal, we need for our citizens, businesses, churches, and schools to participate in the parade on Saturday, December 5th at 10:30 am. The parade line-up begins at 10:00 on Academy St. in Franklinville near the Baptist Church. We would be thrilled to have decorated floats, cars, trucks, tractors, and walkers, characters, and children to ride down Main St. and share their Christmas spirit!  We simply ask that you decorate your transportation with Christmas decorations, and dress in Christmas apparel.  Please have a sign on your float, car, etc. with your business, church, school, club or organization name displayed.  This is a great way to promote your business, club, etc., and for the spectators to know who is participating in the parade!  All participants are encouraged, if they like, to bring individually wrapped candy to toss into the crowd along the parade route.

To help us with our preparations, please call or e-mail Christie at the Town Hall 336-824-2604 or franklinvillenc@triad.rr.com to add your name to our parade list by November 20th (no entrance fee required). Join in the fun and spread some Christmas joy with us!
