Give A Blessing Tree

The Town of Franklinville will be participating in the Partnership for Children and Ministerial Association’s project, “Give A Blessing Tree,” to provide local, underprivileged children with Christmas gifts this holiday season.  If you would like to help brighten the Christmas for a child in need, please come by the Franklinville Town Hall to choose a tag(s) from our Christmas Blessing tree beginning November 1^st.  Listed on the front of the tag is the name and age of the child and on the back a few items that he/she needs.  The next step is to shop and purchase gifts for the selected child/children.  You may then wrap the gifts (What excited child doesn’t want to tear the paper off of a present?), or not, but we do need for you to put them all in a large (holiday type) bag with the child’s name and number on a gift tag attached to the outside and bring the gifts in to the Franklinville Town Hall.  All gifts must be turned in at the Town Hall by 5:00 on Thursday, December 6th.  Our employees will then take the gifts to the Ministerial Association for distribution to each child.
