Enter the Franklinville Christmas Parade Float Contest!
Bring your holiday spirit and creativity to the Franklinville Christmas Parade! Businesses, churches, schools, clubs, organizations, and groups are invited to enter a float for a chance to win a cash prize.
Prizes:
- 1st Place – $200
- 2nd Place – $100
- 3rd Place – $50
Show off your Christmas spirit, get creative, and join in the fun!
Parade Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026

Trunk or Treat Routes and Parking
*If entering from 64 down Andrew Hunter Rd., you have 3 options:
*Parking is available at 1295 Andrew Hunter Rd. at the new Bush Creek Trailhead Parking Area on the left. **Please use the crosswalk to cross the road and walk to Riverside Park.
*You may also park at the Franklinville United Methodist Church at 227 West Main St.
*Another route is to turn left on West Main St. (at the Quik Chek), take a right on Allred St., at the end, turn right on Clark Ave., turn right on Academy St. and park at the First Baptist Church or Franklinville Elementary School.
*If entering from NC 22 N. you have two options:
*Turn right on Andrew Hunter Rd. and the Bush Creek Trailhead Parking Area will be on your right.
*Or take a left on Clark Ave., drive to Academy St. and take a right to park at Franklinville Elementary School or the First Baptist Church. You may walk down Academy St. or Rose St. to get to the park.
*If entering from Ramseur:
*Take a right on Sunrise Ave., take a left onto Church St., and take a left onto Academy St. to park at the First Baptist Church or Franklinville School. Walk down Academy St. to Riverside Park.
**The parking area at the shelter will not be used for parking. The tractor will need this area to turn around for the free hayrides.
**For safety reasons (emergency vehicles) and respect for our citizens, we ask that you do not park in the road or park at the entrance of a driveway.

Join your neighbors for an evening of community, food, and patriotic fun at America’s Potluck as we celebrate 250 years of American independence. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy live entertainment from DJ Law & Order, kids’ activities, retro games, crafts, and more. The event takes place Sunday, July 5, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM at Riverside Park in Franklinville. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome!
