Considering the moon with NASA Ambassador Mike Lucas

This event has ended

Mike Lucas was able to live his childhood dream of being an airline pilot. In this 50+ years in aviation, he logged over 26,000 flight hours. Since 2004 he has been a volunteer public speaker representing NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Mike has had a fascination with spaceflight since childhood and was very fortunate as a teenager to meet and become friends with Alan Shepard, the first American in space. Over the years he has had occasion to meet most of the other astronauts who made history in the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.

Come see his presentation to learn about our moon. Stay after to participate in fun, planetary activities!
