Thank You for your interest in applying and being part of The Franklinville Heritage Day Festival.
We are asking that all vendors, both craft vendors and food vendors, to please send in your vendor fee as soon as possible. Fee information can be found on the Vendor Application Form.
Time: The festival opens at 9am on Saturday and closes at 7pm.
Electricity: Electrical outlets as well as lighting will be available in the park. If you need electrical service, please let us know as soon as possible. An extra fee per day for this service will be charged. The electrical outlets are limited to 110 volts. This service is on a first come, first serve basis. Please let us know on your application if you will need this service.
Park Security: Security will also be provided on Saturday night from 8pm until 8am.
Rain Date: IF rain or for any reason we must cancel the event, ALL VENDORS will be allowed to return on Saturday, September 22nd with no extra fees charged. The information on cancellations of the event will be posted on our website: www.franklinvilledeepriverheritagefestival.com
Vendor Space: Each space is 15 feet and the fee is charged per space for all vendors. The fee must accompany the application for your request to be considered. All applications are considered on a first come, first serve basis. The festival committee reserves the right to accept and reject all requests.
Items to be Sold: Artisans and Crafters must sell HOME MADE items. Mass produced items and factory-made items will not be allowed to be sold.
Set-up: Vendors may set up on the morning of Saturday, September 15th from 6am – 8am.
Anyone arriving after 8:30am will forfeit their space and paid fee.
Parking for 1 vehicle is allowed at vendor space. Parking outside of the gate may be arranged for other vendor vehicles. Please make a request on the vendor application if you will need extra parking.

Fees
Craft Vendors:
$40.00 for the day if posted marked by AUGUST 31, 2019 and paid online
(there is a $2.00 service fee for online payments)
50.00 for one-day craft vendor applications received after AUGUST 31, 2019 and paid online (there is a $2.00 service fee for online payments)
Food Vendors:
$50.00 for one day if post marked by AUGUST 31, 2019 and paid online
(there is a $2.00 service fee for online payments)
$100.00 for all food vendor applications received after AUGUST 31, 2019 and paid online (there is a $2.00 service fee for online payments)
APPLICATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE UPON ACCEPTANCE TO THE FESTIVAL. THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE PLANNING GROUP DECIDES THAT THE WEATHER ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH IS A MAJOR THREAT TO THE SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC AND TO THE VENDORS THE EVENT WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 22nd , WITH NO EXTRA FEE’S.

ANY APPLICATION RECEIVED AFTER AUGUST 31st – VENDORS WILL BE GIVEN AVAILABLE SPACE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS
Notification: Vendors will be notified by PLANNING GROUP VIA EMAIL OR BY PHONE CALL, SO PLEASE GIVE US CORRECT CONTACT INFORMATION.
Security is available Saturday night 8pm – 8am. This is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine.
You must bring your own tent/canopy/tables/chairs as well as weights in the event of windy conditions.
There are electrical outlets for vendors during this event (PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED THIS: FEES WILL BE ADDED ACCORDING TO NEED: BASED UPON FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED).
Rules of the Park
Vendors are responsible for the protection of their goods that are being sold.
Vendors are responsible for all clean-up of the area they occupy prior to leaving.
Vendors will not give items away for free that other vendors may be selling:
(example: water, snacks)
Alcohol is not permitted in the Town Park.
Advertisement and Promotion
All Vendors are encouraged to promote the event via email and social media.
The event volunteers will advertise this event via:
Radio, newspaper, Facebook and local TV as applicable
Please read:
All food vendors must complete and submit a separate application in compliance with the Board of Health 60 days prior to the event. This application is subject to approval by the BOH. The BOH will be present at the event and all vendors will be subject to inspection.
Neither the event coordinators nor the Town of Franklinville will be held responsible for accidents in the park or any damage incurred to vendor merchandise or property. The Town of Franklinville will be excused from all liability.
