The Piedmont Old Time Society, in conjunction with the town of Franklinville, NC is proud to present the 3nd Piedmont One Mic Acoustic Convention (POMAC). Admission is free with donations accepted. For bands and solo competitors, there will be up to $2,500.00 in prize money.

The Piedmont One Mic Acoustic Convention is a music festival dedicated to celebrating the history and creativity of North Carolina musicians. The festival is unusual among North Carolina fiddle, bluegrass, and old-time festivals in that all performances are conducted in front of one microphone. The purpose of this format is to celebrate and honor bands and musicians dedicated to creating acoustic music in a manner similar to what would have been experienced in decades past.
The festival will be held in the historical mill town of Franklinville, NC. Franklinville is an ideal setting for an acoustic festival with large park area backed by the Deep River. The grassy space offers an ideal setting for weekend camping and jamming. Immediately across the river is Faith Rock, a large park area with a network of hiking trails that was recently acquired by The Piedmont Land Conservancy.
